Bowel cancer screening can save lives so do not ignore your invite. Bowel cancer screening is available to everyone aged 60 to 74 years old. A home test kit is sent out to you every 2 years. This kit is called a faecal immunochemical test (FIT)- you collect a small sample of poo and send it to a laboratory in the post (postage is free).

Bowel cancer is the 4^th most common type of cancer in the UK. The sooner bowel cancer is diagnosed; the easier it is to treat.
