Complaints Policy

Evergreen Surgery aims to give a friendly and professional service to all our patients. However, if you have any concerns about any aspect of our service, please let us know. Speak to whoever you feel most comfortable with – your GP, our practice manager or our reception staff will be happy to help.

In the majority of cases, concerns can be resolved quite easily. However, if you feel we have not dealt with the issues you have raised as you would wish, you can ask for a copy of our complaints procedure and complaints form. Alternatively, you can complete our online Feedback form. For more general comments and suggestions, please use the suggestions box in Reception.

Clinical Commissioning Groups were formed as a result of the NHS White Paper “Equality and excellence: Liberating the NHS” and the subsequent health and social care bill. These set out the governments long term plans for the future of the NHS, and states how the NHS will:

  • Put patients at the heart of what the NHS does
  • Focus on improving those things that really matter to patients
  • Empower and liberate clinicians to innovate, with the freedom to focus on improving healthcare

The fundamental difference with a clinical commissioning group is that they are led by clinicians. For patients, this means that Doctors will be heavily involved in ensuring the appropriate provision of local health services, and will work more collaboratively with other organisations in making decisions about health.
