Translation / Interpreting

If you need a translator, please try and bring a friend or relative with you to translate if possible (they must be an adult).

The languages spoken by staff members at this Practice include English, Bengali, Greek, Romanian, Turkish, Urdu, Gujarati and Punjabi.

If you think you may need an interpreter, please tell our reception staff when booking and ask for a double appointment.

Our doctors and nurses all have access to the Language Line telephone translation service to help with your appointment. We can also book a British Sign Language interpreter for you – please give us as much time as you can to arrange this if your problem is not urgent.
